Here at stormlake our puppies will be bred from hip scored parents with sound and steady temperaments, our puppies are born and raised with care indoors in a clean and busy family environment.

From the moment our puppies are born they are handled on a daily basis .

Our puppies are raised on a high quality complete food and also introduced to raw feeding which we highly recommend.

In the weeks that follow after their birth all our puppies will become used to lots of hussle and bussle in the family home including hosehold noises such as the hoover , washing machine, children playing and other pets .

 A social sounds cd played is played to them daily with noises such as fireworks , thunder storms etc.

They will also have regular supervised visitors .

After our babies leave here it is down to you to continue to educate and socialize your new puppy, we always recommend new owners enrol in a suitable puppy training class and we are always happy to give advice and support .

Our puppies will be wormed from two weeks of age, they will leave here fully vet checked, first full vaccination , microchipped, pedigree , kc registered , four weeks pet plan insurance , comfort blanket, care sheet, collar, comprehensive starter food pack and full after sales advice for life.

All puppies will leave with a contract that states if they ever need to be rehomed you must always contact us first.

All puppies will have their kc paperwork endorsed "X" and "R"

"X" the puppy is restricted from being exported with kennel club documents

"R" the puppy is restricted from having its progeny registered by the kennel club

  If you are wanting a puppy to breed at a later date please discuss this with us prior to purchase as my puppies are sold as family pets

only.

Our puppies are bred first and foremost to be cherished loyal family pets who will love nothing more than to be part of your family and life, for hopefully many years to come.

Please note we do not sell our puppies to Homes where they will be left alone all day .

"What is a Breeder "??

A Breeder (with a Capital "B") is one who thirsts for knowledge & never really knows it all, one who wrestles with decisions of concience, convince and commitment.

A Breeder is one who sacrifices personal interests, finances, time, fancy furniture and deep pile carpets! she gives up the dream of long luxurious cruises in favour of turning that all imoportant show into this years "vacation"

The Breeder goes without sleep ( but never without coffee /cola! )in hours spent planning a breeding or watching anxiously over the birth process, and afterwards over every little sneeze, wiggle or cry.

The Breeder skips dinner parties because that litter is due or the babies have to be fed at eight .She disregards birth fluids and puts mouth to mouth to save a gasping newborn, literally blowing life into a tiny helpless creature that may be a culmination of a lifetime of dreams.

A Breeders lap is a marvelous place where generations of proudand noble champions once snoozed.

A Breeders hands are strong and firm and often soliled, but ever so gentle and sensitive to the thrusts of a puppy's wet nose.

A Breeders back and knees are usually arthritic from stooping, bending, and sitting in the birthing box, but are strong enough to enable the breeder to show the next choice pup to a championship.

A Breeders shoulders are stooped and often heaped with abuse from competitors, but they are wide enough to support the weight of a thousand defeats and frustrations.

A Breeder arms are always able to weild a mop, support an arm full of puppies, lend a helping hand to a newcomer.

A Breeders ears are wonderous things, sometimes red (from being talked about) or strangely shaped (from being pressed against a phone reciever), often deaf to criticism, yet always fine-tuned to the whimper of a sick puppy.

A Breeders eyes are blurred from pedigree research and sometimes blind to her own dog's faults, but they are ever so keen to competition's faults and are always searching for the perfect specimen.

A Breeders brain is foggy on faces , but can recall pedigrees faster than an IBM computer. Its so full of knowledge that sometimes it blows a fuse; it catalogues thousands of good boning, fine ears, and perfect heads.......

And buries it in the soul, the failures and the ones that didn't turn out.

The Breeders heart is often broken, but beats strongly with hope everlasting.......... And its always in the right place!
